Privacy policy

Last updated: 30 August 2026

In short. This website uses no cookies, has no analytics or profiling tools and loads nothing from external services — even the typefaces are hosted on our own server. The only data collected are the technical logs the server produces automatically, and whatever you send us if you decide to get in touch.

Browsing data

Like any website, the server hosting these pages automatically records some technical information on each visit: IP address, date and time of the request, the address of the page requested, browser and operating system, and the outcome of the request.

This data is not used to identify individuals, is not combined with other information and does not feed any profiling.

If you write or call

There are no contact forms on this site. The “book” and “write to us” links simply open your own mail application: the message is sent from your address through your provider, not from this website.

We will not use your address to send you marketing, and we will not pass it on to anyone.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies — neither technical, nor analytics, nor profiling — and uses no other form of storage on your device. That is why there is no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.

Third-party services

The site loads no fonts, scripts, images or content from external servers. No third party receives information about your visit.

There are links that lead away from the site, to Google Maps and Instagram. Until you open them, those services receive no data. If you do open them, their own privacy policies apply, over which we have no control.

Who else processes the data

The data is neither disclosed nor sold to third parties for commercial purposes. It may be processed on our behalf, and only as far as necessary, by two suppliers appointed as processors under Art. 28 GDPR:

Transfers outside the European Union

The mailbox we reply from is managed through Google Workspace. The content of emails and their metadata may therefore be processed on servers located outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States.

Such transfers rely on the adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google adheres, and, in the alternative, on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and included in the Google Workspace terms.

The website itself transfers nothing: the pages you are reading contact no external server.

Your rights

You may at any time ask to access your data, to correct it, to erase it, to restrict its processing, to object to processing, or to receive it in a readable format (Arts. 15–22 GDPR). To do so, write to info@sangallobistrot.com.

If you believe the processing of your data breaches the law, you may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).

Changes to this policy

If the site changes, and with it the way data is handled, we will update this page and the date shown above.
